That's why I have uninsured motorist coverage. There are legal avenues you can pursue, for sure. Plus, the police will be pursuing some of their own. Suggest you get a traffic lawyer, and not just the first one you see. Then, wait for the courts to decide guilt, then take that guilty verdict and have your lawyer find every $$$ the guy has. There's also the possibility of going after the car owner that allowed him to drive the car. If you can show the owner knew he was drunk, there's more ammunition. |

ask a solicitor about criminal compensation. if a driver is drunk insured or not its his fault. in the uk the driver has to have his own insurance to drive a car that is not his and the owner has to be insured aswell. main thing is drunk drivers are not insured in any way. |
