In Cali an uninsured accident will take your license for a year. Driving on no license, case by case,
My guess would be that they'd take away your driving privilege until your 18. Definitely probation and restitution for all damages and probably community service. If your, oh, I mean if their perfect angels for now on, you(they) could probably get your record expunged when your 18(that means they'll remove it like it never happened). |

Hopefully he is taught a lesson in responsibility by the local legal system and law enforcement. |

Leaving the Scene of an Accident - FELONY
Driving without a license - BAD
Driving without insurance - BAD
Maybe reckless and imprudent - REALLY BAD
This little snot is looking at not driving until he's 21, never voting, never owning firearms, and never joining the armed forces.
Here's to irresponsibility! |

Well, doesn't sound good... It is a hit and run if you didn't report it... and he will probably not be able to get his license now and he has to pay damages, a fine plus to the electric co., good luck, my son hit a stop sign and we reported it and good thing or they would have had a warrant out for his arrest.... so he just had to pay to fix it to the city & a ticket.... Good luck.... |

this 16 year old will probably get fined and won't be able to get his driver's license for a long time. |

Well, there will most likely be a ticket for driving without a license, whatever your state calls it, not having a licensed driver with you. There will definitely be a ticket for not having insurance. That's gonna cost. And leaving the scene of an accident. Very likely a suspension of the driving permit. And the driver will have to pay for the damages. |

Some significant fines, probably $1,000.00 or more. The parents will be liable for all damages. The lad will most likely have his right to operate pulled until he's at least 18 and possibly 21. |

you might not be able to get your license until you are 18 if you are caught and you might spend some time in the juvenile services center. with no insurance you might get sued |

u will have to pay for the damage caused to the car and electricity box. No insurance. The police will probably summons you for driving without a licence and likely for car theft if you did not have permission to drive the car |

i'd say the victim probably has a positive i.d on the car and should get fixed immediately and kept in a garage. |
