well, yes, but it will be the other persons car, your just paying for it. and yes if your buying a car off a lot you will need a license to register it, and probably get insurance. |

To register yourself as the owner of the car you would require a valid driving license. If you have someone else who has a license with you, he would be registered as the owner of the vehicle and then liable for insurance etc. As the registered owner of the vehicle they can take off with it at any time but if you trust the individual and they are willing to take on the responsibility, you can still pay for the car and have them as your driver. However, if you have to finance the car you may have problems doing this. |

you can buy the car if not taking out a loan to buy it,youll also have problems insurring the car,i know with my insurance company you cant insure if no license,and you cant have some body insure a car thats in your name |

You can buy it yourself and make sure that you put all the paperwork in your name and your friend can drive it off the lot for you but I would see no point in this because you will be the owner so you should get a license and see if you like the car. |
