Try Geico you can probably get a good rate from them, a friend of mine lives in the bronx and i got him insurance thru Geico and his insurance is unbelieveably low for New York, let alone having all the accidents on his record that he has. He gets into an accident religiously every 6 months andthey haven't even raised his rates. |

I truly wish I could give you the best answer, or even a correct one, but, seeing that you're in CT (I'm assuming that's Connecticut), that's a far cry from what goes on here in Texas. Our insurance policies (house and cars) are all with one insurance company, but it's not by choice as much as it is because insurance companies not wanting to insure houses, or somesuch stupidity, down here. And I live in a brand new, well built, brick home. Oh well. And our 3 cars plus my two kids' cars are all on the same policy, so, they "cut us a break". They even put my 22 year old daughter on my old (2002) car and me on her newer (2006) car, just so she'd have a cheaper premium. Who cares since I'm the one paying the whole bill anyway!! But, that's beginning to change this year since I've told my kids that their years of free insurance (daddy-funded) are about over. But, that's only to give you a look at two different ways to get cheaper insurance down here in Texas, but in CT, I just wouldn't know.
And we've been with this insurance company for so long that I haven't had to, or wanted to, go insurance shopping in over two decades at least. Do consider if you have the possibility to be on a multi-car policy, which is cheaper here in Texas, and also if you can get on with the same company that you may have your house or condo on, if you own rather than rent. I wish you the best. Maybe your driving will improve. Down here in Texas, we can live in wide-opened spaces, and that gives us plenty of elbow room to stay away from drivers with bad records. And then there's the story of my 23 year old son who's back from Iraq for the second time, and there ain't NO place with wide enough elbow space to be safe driving with him. LOL. God Bless you. |
