The cheapest companies seem to change every year. As a few people above have already said, use someone like www.confused.com or www.moneysupermarket.com. You basically put all your info into these websites and they get quotes from insurance companies for you, you then just pick the cheapest/ best quote.
Be prepared to pay a lot though, I paid well over £1000 for my first years insurance.
May be worth looking into doing your 'Pass Plus' as well if they still do it, I got 1 years free no claims through Norwich Union with Pass Plus, made a hell of a difference (that was 5 years ago though). Just try a getting quote with and without pass plus, if theres a significant saving then obviously it's worth doing. |

i go with sue try confused.com i swear by them and it's an easy site to get used to. they will compare all sorts off companies and find the ceapest for you. good luck and congrats on passing. |

If you are under 21 then Ensleigh tend to be one of the cheaper options, and more importantly for some, take payments in installments.
A word of warning though, you do get what you pay for and we found that when we needed to use it, their customer service was not up to expectations.
My daughter has now switched to Diamond and is much happier. |

Kwikfit insurance do special deals on ford cars and they are reasonable prices
Me and my dad had amazing deals with the post office too. |
