What is the cHEAPEST car insurance???......?

E-surance...my daughter is16...its about $800 per year to insure her and her 66 Mustang.

I have had uninsured motorist hit me 2 times and the first time everything was very fast...this time I think the police report is holding things up a little...but, they are a great company.

That's nearly impossible to answer w/out knowing more about your driving records, grades at school, did you take driver's ed. in school, and if so, how did you do, etc. It also depends on the type of car you'll be driving, where you live, etc. Your folks should be able to help you call around and find something that's in your price range, or might let you work something out where you can stay on their policy as long as you pay your share of the premium each month. If your folks have memberships to things like AAA, or if your either parent was or is military and has accounts at USAA, you might be able to qualify for other special discounts. Good luck!

depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Here's the deal. you buy only minimum state required liability and that's the "cheapest" insurance. BUT, then a tree falls on your car and since you didnt get comprehensive coverage you now have a dilemna. See, comp coverage would have covered the damage less the deductible. So was the "cheapest" insurance really a deal?? Oh, say an uninsured motorist hits you or a hit and run? Wow, guess you should have opted for the uninsured motorist coverage. That would have paid your medical and other out of pocket expenses too. Even fixed your car if you had property damage on there. There is a reason that a 17 year old pays so much for insurance. If you are a guy, you WILL have an accident. Almost guaranteed. If you are a girl, well, you are less likely but still a higher risk than an adult. most companies lower your rates when you are 18 and then again at 21 and 25 or if you get married. Good student discounts are available if you qualify too. I remember being your age, I should have gotten the whole enchilada. Man, I was in a few wrecks.
