the earliest you can purchase car tax in the uk, is from the 15th of every month.. |

dvla will automatically send your renewal 14 days before your current one expires and can be done on line ,it will take about two weeks to arrive but dvla guarantee no prosecution if taxed online |

To answer the question (and for the other answerers here who are obviously just guessing), the D.V.L.A. website states:
"If your tax is due to run out at the end of the month, you can renew it from the fifth day of the month." |

Wait for the reminder slip to come through, you can't buy a tax disc without it... that is if you're a UK person. if not my bad :P |
