What is the return policy in Texas on a new car?

I just bought a new truck and as I am looking over the contract I don't see any of the prices I was quoted but when I was at the dealership all the papers I signed had the price I was told I would get. I am regretting buying this vehicle now (about 2 hours ago) and am wondering if I can return it. Even if all the numbers add up, what is the return policy on a new car in Texas?

There is no buyers remorse laws on any car in any state. You will have to deal with the dealer you bought the car from and ask them to explain the numbers. Sorry, but if you signed the papers, you bought the vehicle...

Any of these answers which say you have 3 days are WRONG! I repeat WRONG! There is no cooling off period on an automobile purchase anywhere in the US. You drove it off the lot, YOU OWN IT. The dealer may be willing to take it back but you have no legal recourse to make him do so.

Ask the dealer if you can return the vehicle. If you signed the papers that stated the purchase price, you are at their mercy. There is no return law in Texas unless you can prove the truck was a "Lemon", or that you were defrauded. Your situation is called "Buyers Remorse" and you are out of luck.

its a federal law, calle dthe lemon law, you have 3 days to return a vehicle in any state for any reason, your not happy or jkust not comfortable driving it you can return it within 72 hours of purchase

Not sure, but I think it is 3 days. I think you can say you were under to much stress or pressure.

Take it back. By law, you have 3 days to return "ANYTHING". Do it ASAP.
