You are going on 90km/h. Do you sway to avoid hitting the dog but get into an accident yourself. Or would you just go ahead and hit the dog and drive away?

hard to face but no choice , i drive an 18 wheeler with cattle , a pick up truck crossed three lanes and i had little time , but have to go over the pickup , do you take a chance of causeing others to be hurt also , injury to yourself is something you avoid , its sad to hit the dog but its that or your self and possibly others , but you should state that 90 kilo is actually around 60 mph , people gonna read this and ask why your going 90 mph lol , |

I will just go ahead to hit the dog and drive away. I am not being cruel, but I faced similar situation on the expressway (TPE) many years back.
That time, also driving about 90km/h and i swerved to avoid hitting a dog but I lost control of my "then" car and I skidded, spin 540 degrees and when i manage to stop my car, I am facing all the oncoming cars. Fortunately they stopped on time too.
It was a terrible nightmare and i vowed never to drive a nissan car thereafter. |

Honk and slowly hit the brakes, but if I can't stop in time, the dog is gonna be dead.
I refuse to swerve because I've seen people flip cars doing that. Not worth it. |
