P.S. - someone above suggested that if you get your car vandalized all over then the insurance company will have to paint it. Got news for you. Insurance companies are onto that scam. Very good chance you get investigated by their fraud department and then have your case turned over the your states attorney generals department for prosecution. That's called insurance fraud and its a crime.

I don't recommend that.

The only thing that might be applicable is a manufacture's or the paint shop warranty against fading or wearing.

There is no standard auto insurance that will cover that as it is a natural event. Its like trying to get insurance against a live tree growing taller.

Best answer usually the simplest

You would to have insured your car against paint fade back in the days when the paint was shiny and new.AND you would have to pay extra MUCH extra, for something that may or may not happen. So, in other words, there was no insurance out there cause no one wanted to pay the deductible.

Insurance has nothing to do with your paint...

If you have full coverage and if your car gets vandalized insurance will pay to have it repainted after a 500 ded.

No one suggested anything idiot, i was just saying insurance covers vandalism, not fadded paint. Yea ,my car did get keyed and yes you dirtballs tried to charge me with fraud. You insurance ppl think you are soooo smart, until my lawyers start calling; i have never seen somone tuck tail and run away so fast. But with my settelment, out of court i might add, i got car painted and enough back to buy a new one too. So i guess maybe i should thank you for thinking everyone is trying to scam you.

You really need to have someone explain to you what insurance is and how insurance covered items differ from routine maintenance. You need to give it up and go outside and wash and wax your own car. Or take it to a detailer.

Your health insurance takes care of you when you are sick. Your health insurance does NOT pay for your tooth paste or clothing.
