What next after a car accident?

I had a car accident the other day which was my fault I have my license and full coverage insurance but the other driver I hit didnt have a license to drive and the vehicle is under his sister's name and her insurance. What happens next with the insurance company? Am I going to be raised up to high risk insurance because of this accident?

Call your insurance agent as soon as possible and let them handle everything for you.

If you are responsible for the accident - your insurance rates will probably go up some at your next renewal.

A lot depends on what state your in. In CA it doesn't matter if the other guy has no insurance. You are still responsible so your insurance company will pay for their car damage and any medical bills.
If there is only probly damage you will have one point and if the other party claims any injury, even $1 you will have 2 points on your DMV record. But that's in CA. You need to post what state your in.
