I got my learner's permit a little more than three years ago (February 7th, 2006). The thing is, I never had a keen interest in driving at that time, so after I took 12 of the 15 classes, I missed one and never made up the last three.
Since I already paid for the classes and have yet to finish them, should I go back to Driver's Ed or go straight to the DMV, as I am now 19 years old? I have a job now and I want my license but I'm not exactly sure on what to do.
Any advice would be appreciated.

The quickest down dirty thing to do is forget the past. Go to the DMV get a new permit and a book. Study the book for the written test then go take the written and driving test. You'll need a licensed driver to get you there along with your social security card. You are an adult now and you can forget all the other required classes for 16 year olds.r |

find out if you still can finish them; you may be out of pocket on that. Call the DMV and find out if you even have to finish. |

your best bet is to see if there are classes that are 2 8 hr weekend days. I did just that. It took two of my Saturdays, but it goes quick. And it's not so bad. See if there's anything like it at the community college. Some offer driver's ed. The community college I went to did. Inquire about it. |
