We are going on an hr car ride, and we are going to get sooo bored. We need some ideas of things to bring in the car with us.
We are already bringing:
-ipod
-itouch
-cellphones
**we dont have any handheld games like nintendo DS or gameboys or anything.

An hour is no time to travel, I wouldn't worry about bringing anything, just talk and look out the window, it's always interesting to watch everything as you go past, especially if you're going somewhere new. |

Look at bilboards and go thru alphabet with first letters
If in country area - count animals
If in city areas - count light poles
Count only certain color cars
Count number of cars vs. trucks
Report results to YA - when your 1 hour car ride is completed..

That should be enough, but for a bit of fun, why dont you stop and get a whole heap of magazines and some pens, and do the crosswords together. Read out the clues and guess them together, who ever isn't driving can write in the answers.
But you'll be surprised how quickly an hour car ride goes by. |
