no tax or no tag? if it is no tag you can drive for up to ten days without a tag. after that you can get a fine. it is the law that you have insurance and license to drive. i drove for 8 days before i went to the dmv to but my tags. i was stopped and i show the officer my paper work and he said make sure i get them before time runs out because i would get a ticket for failure to register |

Driving a vehicle with no tax is a non-endorseable offence. Although the fine might be £1000 it is unlikely to be so high. Your insurance is not invalidated if the vehicle does not have a licence.
In fact it appears that the fine will be £80.00 (and of course you still have to tax your car!) |
