You might get a ticket and not be able to for awhile, depending on who catches you some will let you off. Some people I know did anyway many times and he just got the warning that if he does again he'll lose it till he's 18. I know an older person with a suspended one who drove anyway and got caught THEN said he was his twin brother and got his car impounded, his license suspended and charged with false identity and he only got his suspended for a few months. |

You'll probably lose all driving privledges until you're at least 18 or maybe even 21. Don't do it!!! Go take the test. It's not worth it. |

Possibly they will pull your permit and for breaking the rules you may not be allowed to get your license when you should be able to. They might make you wait until you are 18 or 21 depending on your state! |

In my state you lose your permit and you cannot apply to get your permit/license until you're 18, or you lose it for a few months if you're already over 18. |

That's not a good thing to have on your driving record, I wouldn't do it. I'm sure they would want to make an example of you and they'd bring you in, give you a fine, make your mom or dad come down to the station to pick you up. Not good. |

Many States now take away your chance to get a license until you are 18 or 21. Since you would be driving illegally, you would also be considered an Uninsured Driver. Hope your not too far from home when you get stopped since you will be walking after the stop and the vehicle will probably be towed. |

It depends on the state which you are in, but what I typically hear is that if a police officer catches you driving by yourself with only a learner's permit, you can be arrested, your car will be impounded if a family member with a liscence is unable to come and take the keys, and your permit/possibility of getting a liscence is taken away for quite a while.
Of course, this is the worst case scenario, I believe in some states that they might not arrest you, and instead will make you pay a heavy fine... but no matter what, your permit will be taken away for a long time.
You should probably refer to your state driver's manual/handbook for full details as the what the exact punishment would be, because once again, every state is different with their laws.
However, this being said, it's probably best to simply wait the few months until you can get a full liscene, or just go and take your road test now and get a rescricted liscence. Because the consequences of getting caught by yourself with only a permit just isn't worth it. |

You're a fool. You will get a ticket and have to go to court where the judge will take your learners away.
Driving is a privilege not a right. You are supposed to be driving accompanied because you don't know what you are doing yet. I'd rather you didn't risk my life or my child's because you can't be bothered to wait for someone to drive with you. |

Just tell the police man you stole the car from your parents to see your girlfriend even though they told you not to, and he'll laugh and take you back home. |

where is everybody?

it will get taken away and you won't beable to get a regular one for awhile (don't know how long) |

Hey there

I think the penalties vary, state by state. In my state, you will lose your permit, just as you would a license, and your right to a license will be revoked for a certain period of time. I'm not sure of what that time is, but it is equivalent to that of someone who already had a license and had it revoked. I knew of a case where a kid did this, and he was not allowed his license or permit for 5 years.
If you get pulled over, you will be arrested and the car will be towed. You will have to go to court and pay for the towing and storage fees. |

Depends on the laws where you live. Not every country or every state have the same laws. I can assure you there will be a penalty, though. Probably lose your license for at least a year. If you're under a certain age, it could be longer. |

If you get pulled over, you will most definitely get your permit taken away. You will also get fined ($150 in some cases.) I would really suggest that you find a licensed adult to drive with you until you get your own license. Not only are you putting yourself at risk for having your permit taken away, you're also putting other people at risk because you may come to a place where you don't know what to do and may end up getting into an accident. |

Straight to the jail with your car apprehended by the Police with deportation if you are an expatriate and permanant ban from entering the country plus a heavy fine. |

I think it depends on the state, but they would probably be able to take your permit away and deny you the right to take the test again for a period of time.
And, you don't have your license, so they would probably treat you like anyone else driving without a license (fines, etc.) |

I want you to get pulled over. I want you to feel the embarassment of being fussed at by the cops and feel the difficulty of trying to get a drivers license - a real one - after pulling an idiotic move like that. I want mature, responsible drivers on the roads with me. Not you.
The right to drive is a falsehood. You have NO right to drive. It is a privilege that is GRANTED to you by the state after you have proven you can be trusted with the responsibility it represents.
Except you don't seem to be measuring up. So please, get pulled over, and start walking. You're endangering the rest of us who take this kind of thing seriously. |

Shut up about the mature ish. If you got whip game, and your tags are good. Go were you need to. Unless your black, which is my case :( then don't do it because you will get pulled over for DWB (driving while black) + full cavity search + drug charges (they will plant drugs if needed.. Thankyou |

i think that they should let you get your restricted liscenes when you are 17 if you drive well but they will take your permit away for six months and you will have to wait til your 21 to get you LI |
