If your pulled over by the police, you will be arrested and your car impounded by the arresting officer. If your arrested late at night, you may have to spend the night in jail, till you appear in court the next morning. if it's a weekend, and you can't get someone to bail you out, you'll sit in jail all weekend. Once your released, you will be looking at a hefty towing charge for your car, plus storage charges. Get your license squared away then drive, it's a lot cheaper..."nuff said"

Possible jail time, definte fines, high insurance, cops watch you like a hawk, and your license will be barred. Drive while barred, its 6 months in iowa. Dont do it just wait. it will be cheaper than driving without it.

it'll jack your insurance up if caught and if not in your own state or even county you'll probably go to jail after having your car searched, that was my experience any way. I had 2 of them and i'm 25 and pay 230 bucks a month for 2 crappy cars , not worth it

That depends upon the state and why the license was suspended. Most of the time you will be arrested and the vehicle will be towed if there is not another licensed driver in the vehicle who is fit to drive. If you're in CA, the car will be impounded for 30 days; this is mandatory and applies even if it's not your car.

Driving under suspension will get your license revoked in many states.

Well, if you have an accident - your insurance company will not cover the damage. You can then be sued for everything you own, will own and will earn for the rest of your life if there is a serious injury or death.

Consider those stakes.

They will take yout lic. plate off your vechile and your insurance will go up, you will have to get an form called SR22 before you can get insurance.

You will get arrested and go to jail if caught. Why are you driving on a suspended license? Your insurance company will run your dmv occassionally, and when they find the suspension, they will take action, including cancellation if they choose so.
