You should have a V5 or logbooks that will tell you

V5 logbook will have the date.

On the logbook/registration certificate/V5 - it will have a date of first registration.

Look at the log book, or the title. Both will have the year. If it's newer than 1979, the 10 th digit of the VIN will also give the year. A = 1980, there will be no "I", "O" or "Q" so by the time you get to Y that will be 2000. If the character is a number, that is the year, 1 is 2001. 7 is 2007...

look on door jam or under hood for data tags it usually says in small print the year of manufacture...
