Also use MoneySupermarket. Then Tesco and Direct Line, who do not subscribe to the comparison websites. This should give you the top 3 companies. Then go to their websites, re-input your details and see if they are cheaper this way. Also ring your old company, tell them you've found insurance for so much less with whoever, and see if they will price match them.

They both do the same job, but I got a hell of a lot of spam emails and cold-call phone calls from comparethemarket.com compared to confused.com. |
