As long as it's not a Buy Here, Pay Here ripoff joint and you're going through traditional financing, i.e. bank, finance company or any other legitimate lending source, you will be required to carry comprehensive and collision insurance. They could care less if you get liability insurance. However, you're not going to get comp and collision without getting liability. |

If you finance the car, the finance company will stipulate the amount of coverage you need to carry, to protect their loan in event of an accident. If you pay cash, its up to you. |
