I know of two places. One one driver side dashboard if your looking from the outside of your car, windshield. There should be a metal tag. I know this is on the older cars.
Second, sometimes on the driver side door in the jam there should be a sticker.
Check there.
Good Luck! |

Most of the answers I have read are correct. However, the VIN is 17 digits. 1's are always ones, not l's (els). And the 0's are always zeros, not o's (ohs). Most of the digits tell you something about the vehicle. As an example, the first digit tells you the country of origin. The 10th digit tells you the model year, etc. |

Any car built from 1968 will have it's Vehicle Identification number on the lower left hand side of the dashboard.
You can also find it on the major inside body panels on newer cars as per Federal Government edict to stymie chop shops. |
