Where do you get the form for renewing car tax in the UK?

The DVLA used to send me the form but don't seem to have done so this year. Also what is needed apart from a MOT?

Do it online on the DVLA site. Your insurance and MOT details are kept on file by them.You can even do it by telephone.
Failing that take V5, insurance and MOT to the post office. |

just go to post office with log book, mot and insurance, with payment of course and you will get the tax, no form is needed or even available anymore although you should have got the reminder from dvla.

Hi, you can download the form (V10) from the DVLA website - http://www.dvla.gov.uk/forms/onlineforms.aspx
You will also need your insurance documentation for the period you wish to tax |

OK then if you have not recieved the form, have you moved and not told them?? You need the form, then just do it online, it is very easy and you don't need to show any documents either.
But the form has a code number on it for you to use.
A form is sent out to every registered keeper, and it also tells you how much to pay. |
