I'm asking this question for a friend and she's curious to know some car models with good insurance rates.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated :)

I dont have first hand experience of this, but I've heard that insurance rates on Saturns are pretty good |

I have a 2004 Kia Rio and pay 75.00 a month for FULL coverage thru Geico.
Im 29, have a perfect driving record....
The insurance rates depend on:
Her age
Driving record
Year, make and TYPE(ie sports car, suv, truck, passenger car,etc) of vehicle.
Current insurance coverage(no insurance or liabilty). |

mid size sedans have one of the least insurence rates. compacts are a bit more expensive some times cheaper. but remember suvs and trucks have the highest because they have a higher curb weight. a higher curb weight causes cars to flip over more. one of the least prices for insurence is the ford tarous. but they arent reliable |

saturns get great rates, but don't last very long. same with Fords. I think all said and done, Toyota Camry or Honda accord. they both get pretty good rates for the stability of the car |

Call your insurance agent, or any insurance agent. Insurance companies base their rates on statistics generated by the Insurance Institute. They have easy access to this research.
They can tell you exactly which model cars are the cheapest to insure, and perhaps give advice on the quality of these vehicles. |

Those that are stolen less often (boring), less expensive to repair (cheap), and less in demand (big, ugly sedans). |

it depends on the model of the car i own an infiniti fx 45 and i pay almost $1500 but if you would go for a toyota camry it gets cheaper |
