Which would be cheaper to insure?

a Civic Si Hatchback or a Civic LX coupe
the SI has a sportier engine meaning its more vroom vroom than a regular Civic. but it's a hatchback which is cheaper to insure than a two-door coupe.
anybody out there know?

Depending on the VIN - each model has a rating symbol.
The SI 4dr has a rating symbol of 16, the coupe 20.
The LX has a rating symbol of 13, 14, 17 and 18. Not sure what the differences are but maybe this will help!
The HIGHER the rating symbol is, the higher the price to insure. Don't be swayed by what a car salesman tells you - when you get close, get the VIN of the car you want and call an independent insurance agent in your area.
