I was at a stop light, Getting to turn left. There was a red car in front of me going in the same direction. There are two lanes AFTER the light, One goes straight and the other turns into a McDonald's and other places. The lady was in the turning lane. But she did not turn into McDonald's or the other places. She gave me a dirty look cause I honked my horn at her.

yea I guess she was in the wrong. But if no accident was caused and no harm was done, I don't see what the big deal is. Unless you had to swerve out of the way or something then I could understand. Seems like you're new to driving. |

If you are in California, then you are the only one who might have done something illegal:
27001. (a) The driver of a motor vehicle when reasonably necessary to insure safe operation shall give audible warning with his horn.
(b) The horn shall not otherwise be used, except as a theft alarm system which operates as specified in Article 13 (commencing with Section 28085) of this chapter.
The question is: did you honk because you were irritated, or because you were being helpful to her?
