Okay I am 18 years old who just recently bought a car off of ebay. My father's name and my name are on the car title. My name is in the loan and My dad is the cosigner on the loan. My first payment is Aug 1st which I am supposed to pay for. The title is supposed to be coming in the mail on monday since we bought it out of state. I just recently got into a fight with my father and he wants me to pack my things and leave but leave the car.. but isn't it mine since my name is in the title and I am paying the bank for it? Please somebody let me know your opinions on this whole ordeal. Everyone that I've asked so far has told me the car is mine.

okay.... You both own it.....The way your names are worded on the title is important. If it read Dad < AND > child, then both must sign to sell it. If it reads Dad < OR > child then either can sell it.....okay.....The names on the loan mean nothing as far as ownership....okay.....

The car is jointly owned by both you and your father. If you have to leave the car tell him he can pay for it then. |

Well you should get it..since youre legally an adult. If its on his insurance plan and payment plan,then its his car |
