fine someone else in the hotel who can help you. Ask the hotel clerk who didn't help you to get her manager and tell them you need help and also complain that the clerk didn't help you. |

you should rent a manual next time, if the batteries dies, it's ok, you can pop the clutch in 2nd gear if you roll the car like 5 mph or something. |

Whoever you rented the car from, they will send out a service truck to fix the problem. |

First call the rental office or 800 number for the rental company. If that doesn't help, and you're not a member of an auto club, try a local tow company. The cost will depend on where you are and the time of day, but typically at least $40.00; more at night and on holidays (sometimes, a lot more). |

Are you in a parking lot? Ask someone around going to their car, most people who have jumper cables are willing to help. Otherwise call the rental company. |

If the rental company gave you an 800 number, call it; otherwise, if there'a a local office, call there. If you belong to AAA or another auto club, they should be able to help, even with a rental, as long as you have your membership card with you. |
