I don't hate to go to DMV (in California). But that's because they pay me pretty well. I transferred out of the first DMV office that I worked in, because most of them, including the managers, had pretty bad attitudes. In the office that I work in now, there are no a-holes. Most are polite and try to do a good job under pressure. But I have seen some that make me cringe when I hear them taking to a customer.
Just try to remember that we have to enforce the laws/rules, but we don't MAKE them. They are made by legislature and politicians (at least in California). |

I usually have no problems with the MVA office in Maryland that i use (of course I go there several times week). I will not go to the D.C. DMV. If I have a buyer from DC, I tell them that they have to do their own tag work!! |

I think the actual requirement is that you have to take at least one personal phone call every 10 minutes, and you get a 15 minute break every hour, and if you walk faster than a snail going to and from the copier, they fire you. |
