Every time you renew your insurance you have to have proof of no claims from your previous insurer. Therefore your present insurer will have to have been given proof when you took the policy out. If you need it, just ask them. xx |

Anyway, haha, your insurance company will do all that for you. Your policy in their system holds all of your information.. everything from claims to vehicles to how many times you sneezed last time you talked to them on the phone. Okay, so not so much the last one, but you know what I mean! At renewal your policy should automatically go through and check on that sort of stuff using whatever system they have. If nothing shows up under your claims, the system will know this (since those fields will be blank) and once you've met the required time without any claims (either 3 or 5 years, depending on the company and state), it automatically goes on there.
If for any reason you think you're not getting it and you meet the requirements, however, you can always bring it up to their attention! I dunno if this is why you're asking but if it is, don't be afraid to tell them that you're not getting what you deserve. :) |

The insurance companies you took the policy out with, providing you sent them proof or they obtained proof of your new claims bonus from the previous company. The record of your ncb is only as good as the admin dept of the prev company or your personal filing system. |
