Why am I an excluded driver?

So my dad added my name under our the auto insurance and today they sent us a paper that said my name was excluded. Why is this? I know my dad didn't ask them to exclude my name.

So, You will have to ask them but so it sounds as if they don't want to insure you. so

It means the insurance company refused to insure you to drive that car. If you drive it you are driving illegally. If you have an accident the insurance will not pay for the damages. You or your dad will have to pay them out of pocket.

Some insurance companies simply do not insure underage drivers at any price. Your dad will have to either change insurance companies to one that will insure you or purchase a totally separate policy for you.

There are a number of reasons: your license is invalid or suspended; you've had several accidents in the past; you have several moving violations; you have a previous conviction for fraud; you've been previously canceled for non-disclosure/misrepresentation. Tell your dad to call his broker/agent and ask them.
