I had my vehicle stolen and they paid it out already. Now my insurance went up? It wasn't my fault i thought it would go under comprehensive?

In my USA state, Insurance paid out for a stolen vehicle is paid out under the comprehensive part of the policy and comprehensive claims are not surcharged. Are you sure this wasn't simply a normal rate increase that had nothing to do with the stolen car claim? |

Beats me. Normally it'll only go up for an at fault accident.
But maybe you filed too many claims and after a number of claims filed regardless of what the claims are for, they raise your rates. |

Rates will go up if you have any kind of claim. Shop for other insurance. Auto companies are advertising like crazy these days. |

Everything insurance pays for--medical costs, repair costs, vehicle costs--has gone up, and the companies' investments are tanking, so they may have just had a routine increase. If the increase is the result of your claim, there should have been an explanation with the new bill. |

insurance ppl are crooks... if they spend any money at all they will do whatever it takes to get it back... insurance is a joke... you rly lose more money than you would ever spend w/o it... if you make a claim on anything it will skyrocket.. i think its bs |
