License are revoked on a points basis. You have X number of points (usually 12) allowed in a 12 month period.For every violation (moving or otherwise)you acrue points.If you exceed your limitation of points in a 12 month period you loose your license.I have acrued nine to date.If I get three more before November 7 my license will be revoked.My fingers are crossed. |

if you got pulled over by a cop and took your license, they use that as a type of bond to make sure you pay your ticket, otherwise, you don't get your license back. |
