Why do NEW drivers complain about how much it costs to insure there cars.?

my Sister works at a car insurance brokers and she told me
The number of new drivers who are involved in accidents is UNREAL
You CANT actually drive a car correctly when you have just passed your test (I know you think you can but you cant) So therefore you are a liability to other road users and therefore have to pay more to insure your car.

Young drivers do not comprehend the cost of operating a vehicle which includes insurance. As with everything else, most teens have all the answers. They just do not understand the question.r

Yes and they don't realize a portion of what the rest of the country pays in insurance is to pay for the damage these kids cause. I always get flamed for saying this but the licensing process in this country is way too easy and they still come on here asking for the easiest way to pass the test. I wish they would just raise the driving age to 18 and the rest of us would get quite an insurance break. I guarantee it.

Simple answer is mate, nearly ALL of young MALES drive BOY RACER cars and GO 60mph in a 30mph (New Drivers)

Many Males like me moan because we are the sensable drivers that would not consider doing that (im nearly 18)

the problem for me is that 'we all' pay for new drivers.... I don't think a compulsory product should be handled by an unregulated industry personally. It wouldn't matter what the test involved... the second a new driver (especially male) gets into a car, the hormones take over.

If your 25 or under you should pay more. The fact is a 16 year old male or 22 year old male you have the same chance at getting in a accident. Even if the 22 year old has been driving for 6 years.

It's true, my brother passed his test and has had 3 crashes in a YEAR. I've been driving 3 years and not so much as a scrape.

Because it's expensive for a new driver's car insurance and they don't have a whole lot of money and have to work hard for the money they have.

Car insurance quotes are based on old statistics that teen drivers (especially male drivers) cause more accidents than more experienced drivers.
