They are no demanding it or they send it to money collector company.
Wife wife went to the emergency one and was totally ok. The at fault car insurance company told us we could keep it. The problem we got a car with with the money. What should I do. This collector company want to know if she was in a accident.

Yes they can. You cannot collect twice for the same damages. Normally, your medical insurance company would subrogate against the at fault insurance but in this case, they paid you for the medical damages and now your medical insurance company wants reimbursed. There ain't no free lunch.r |

Read your policy carefully. I think most insurance companies have a clause in their policies which state that they will not be liable if costs are born by another source. |

Yes, they may be entitled to recover their costs if you receive compensation from another source. You can't collect twice for the same damages. |

If you claimed medical expenses from your medical insurers, and then you claimed the same medical expenses from the at fault party's insurer, then your medical insurer has every right to have what they paid out repaid. You cannot collect the same expense from two different insurers. |

If I am reading and understanding this correctly, your medical insurance wants money from you. I don't understand why and any money you would get for a car accident is yours to do with what you want to do with it. I would talk to an attorney and see what your legal rights are. This is a little confusing and I would want legal advice. |

Your provider must enforce the lien prior to settlement. If you signed a release, and a lien was not placed on the claim, they are SOL. Call the at fault auto carrier, and let them know you are having a problem. They should be able to send a letter to your provider letting them know the claim was already settled. If there was a lien, it should have been included in the settlement, and it should have been satisfied. |
