Will I be able to drive to job interview with limited junior license?

I have a job interview soon and I just recently passed my road test but it hasn't been 6 months after I got my permit/turned 16 so in upstate new york its called a "limited junior license" where I can drive to school, employment and medical appointments by myself until 6 months after when I can drive wherever I want. It's a job interview so would that be considered part of employment? or is it illegal?

well i wouldn't consider it as part of employment because your not going to work, your just in the process of getting hired, but just to make 100% sure it wouldn't hurt to call the DMV and ask
