my car hydroplaned friday night, causing me to drive off a highway and into the grass about 10 feet below the road
it was raining
no other cars were involved
and i did not hit anything
the only damage was caused by the wrecker pulling it onto the road
the police officer that i called gave me a ticket for careless operation of a motor vehicle
i'm 16
and i have another ticket from november

Just pay the ticket when you can.
Slow down, don't let it happen again. Remember, you acquire points on your record, and it's double points on a probationary license. |

No you may have to go to driving class where they put you through and obstacle course. Just pay the tickets and slow down and pay more attention to the condition of the road especially when it is wet. |

More than likely you will just have to go to a class to get the points taking off of your license. However you do stand a slight chance of getting your license revoked/suspended for maybe thirty days or so. It just depends on who ever the judge/ police officer is. The best thing for you to do is take this to court and explain to them that you could not help that your vehicle hydroplained and you did your best to keep it from going into the grass but you panicked a little much. |
