Hi i asked this a while ago but thought id re write as i dont think i made sense.
Iv been driving a year exactly i live in england. I was driving along a carrageway at 90mph (in a 70) i saw a police car and a police van in a layby which i thought was strange as normally only 1 car for speeding?) anyway unsure as to whether iv been caught? will i get a summons? and if so do u think my lisense would be taken away? very worried as need it for work as i live in country there are NO buses or transport. iv been an idiot and i dnt normally speed but had an appointment to get to which stressed me out. anyway i wondered if anyone knew what im likely to get if i did get caught? i know im only allowed 6 points thanks all

I posted an answer to your question on your last post.
But basically, if you actually got caught by the speed camera then you will most likely receive a notice through your door in the next few days. If you got caught, you will definitely get a fixed penalty fine (usually about £60) and you will most likely receive 3 points on your licence. But the police do have the power to give out 6 points for speeding.
Also, if you get points on your licence (especially when you have only been driving for a year) your insurance premium will sky rocket |
