Yes it will unless you can plea it down to something less than a traffic violation.
If they allow you to go to traffic school, you may end up getting points reduced to where your insurance does not go up at all.
Being this is your first, you have good possibilities to either of the above. |

it all depends, if your state allows it then yes, but most policies will allow a ticket or two. but if it was considered wreckless driving, then yes it will. in my opinion and experience, no not normally. now if you were to wreck during the running of the stop sign, then yes definately it would. tickets are normally overlooked unless you you are going to update your policy. they can not rerun your ticket score from the DMV unless you are updating your policy. most tickets fall off after 4 years, and if you keep your policy current, then more then likely not hope this helps |

Check with the courts to find out if your eligible for traffic school. It can cost some $$, but it will assist in keeping your insurance premium down. |
