Will my license be suspended if I got pulled over without insurance and reinstated my insurance the same day?

I live in Washington state, and I'm hearing different things. Will I get my license suspended if I try to take ticket to judge to show him/her that I renewed my insurance the same day I got pulled over. Or is it safer for me just to pay the fine???? People that have been through this, please let me know.

you have to go to court to prove that you had insurance the day you were stopped. since you reinstated your insurance the same day it should not be a problem just be sure that the date of the day you got stopped is reflected on your insurance card. don't tell the judge that you were w/o insurance prior to that date.
ask your insurer if they can put the starting date on you policy prior to that date, most insurers will do that if you had insurance with them before since they have nothing to loose and money to gain because you CANNOT have an accident in the past. try that before you go to court |
