I guess things could be worse. Last Tuesday I was in a car accident and totalled my car, got banged up pretty bad. So I get another car...not a new one but a car in pretty good condition and 2 days later I go to the downtown police station to pick up the report for the accident. I get out the car with my daughter to put money in the meter when this lady has a seizure in her car and runs smack, dab into my car! On top of that it's been 4 days and I havent heard anything from the lady or the insurance company. I am a good person, i try not to do harm to anyone......but karma's kicking my butt right now!

bad luck is saying the minimum;
since you have not heard anything in 4 days, call her insurance company and find out the status if it has been reported or not? since she had a seizure, could be she has been in the hospital and unable to contact them;
i also suggest calling your insurance company and report it if you haven't allready, since she had a seizure in her car, the other company may use "medical emergency" (if allowed by your state laws) and deny your claim; but this is where your company can help you and tell you what your rights are;
the good news is that you nor your daughter were in the car at the time of impact or you could be looking at injuries; |

I got a Honda Accord V6 on Friday. Paid cash. Guy runs into me Sunday with no issurance. Monday car is considered totaled. Tuesday I get ripped a check for less $3500 than what I paid for the car on Friday.
Moral of the story? I wish they had gap insurance in 00'. |
