Me and my friend went on a trip, i was driving his car. and i got pulled over for speeding, i'm not on his insurance, but i was driving his car, would his insurance go up? since i used his card as proof of insurance on the car?

i was doing 50 in a 35, just came off a 70mph interstate and it was the first time i've been there, and i'm a new driver, and that was the 3rd time i've driven that car, thank you so much for your answer though. =]

No his insurance would not go up because you received a ticket for speeding. Had you gotten into an accident (god forbid) while driving his vehicle, than there would of been a chance of a rise in his insurance rates.
Let this be a lesson to you to drive carefully and also see if you can be added on as a driver on his policy, if you drive his vehicle regularly. |
