I would wear my seatbelt so neither would happen... but to answer the question... probably stopped by the windsheild. That would mean that the accident was not severe enough to break the windsheild/my speed towards the windsheild was not high enough to smash through it... thus the accident wasn't all that severe, so I'd be more likely to live. |

Neither, I would expect my seat-belt or inflatables to stop that sort of catastrophe happening. |

I would far rather be stopped by a seat belt. Believe me, I have been in a highway collision, seriously injured, but I would have been killed in a very messy way without the belt. You do not want to think about hitting the windshield, going through or not, because you are usually dead. |

you want to go through the windsheild. If the winsheild stops you then that means your head or neck has absorbed the most of the impact. But if the windshield gives, the inertia and engergy of your body moving forward would get slowed down and stop when you hit the ground.
Both are going to hurt. LOL |

I would hope that the seatbelts would do their job of protecting me from that kind of thing. I really don't want to get hit by the airbag either but it's certainly better than hitting the windshield or going through it for that matter. |

Either way is horrific. But I think I would rather be stopped by the windshield. Going through it just doesn't seem to be appetizing. If you completely go through the wind shield you may end up under somebody's car and then you'll really be hurt or worse DEAD!! |

Personally - I'm smart enough to wear a seat belt so neither happens.
So - the answer to your question is neither. Only fools don't wear their seat belts and bounce off the windshield or go through it (both of which can cause pretty nasty injuries to your face). |
