hi there,i just passed my test last week,the examiner took my provisional driving licence and told me i will received soon my full uk licence,but as i was very excited i forgot to tell him about i just move to new address that day,and will be a bit far to go and collected to my old address,could you tell me what i can do,and good advice and tips...pleaseeeee

What you should have done is have your post redirected by the Post Office, that way you will get any mail wrongly delivered to your old address for 3, 6 or 12 months, whatever you decide, when your licence does turn up, you will have to send it back & change the address. |

Definitely do it the way tr1gger1... says, get all your mail redirected by the nice Post Office. That would help with any other correspondance too, where they aren't aware that you've moved . . .
DVLA won't take your instructions over the phone anyway, after all it could be anyone calling. Once your licence is safely in your hands you can sort out the change of address.

phone them, it happends, they will just change the address that they send it to. |

When you do recieve it, go on to the DVLA Site or post office and get the address changed ASAP
Your commiting your first offence as a new driver if not
It's easy cost a couple of pounds but you have to do it
