What is your question? The other person's insurance is responsible if you are not at fault. If the other person does not have insurance and you have UM coverage (uninsured/underinsured motorist) then your insurance will pay and probably sue the other driver |

You reserve the right to have your vehicle repaired at the shop of your choice, always. If you or the repair shop can SHOW the claims adjuster additional or hidden damage on your car and it IS related to the loss, they will pay it. You don't need a damn lawyer, you don't need to contact the Attorney General's Office. If worst comes to worst, let YOUR company handle this under your collision coverage. |

Call your insurance agent and report it.
Let them handle contacting the other persons insurance company.
They will do it because they don't want you making a claim against them.
That is assuming you and the other driver have insurance.
If you don't have insurance the other person is still liable but depending on state laws you may get a ticket for not having insurance.

If you want them to pay then have 3 estimates and tell them. If not, they don't have to pay for it all since you didn't go to their's because they usually get a discount at one place. |

Read your insurance policy. Depends on the state. Michigan is a no-fault state, so you're covered no matter who is to blame, as long as you are carrying the appropriate coverages. |

If they are agreeing to pay for your damages, it should not be contingent upon your using any shop that they recommend. You can use the shop of your choice. Not sure if there's something else missing from your question or the info you gave, but that's the long and short of it. You don't need 3 estimates.
If you cannot get them to agree, call the supervisor or complain to the insurance department of the state. |

Not knowing what state you are living in, I'd suggest contacting your state's Attorney General's Office, and ascertaining your rights, under state law. |
