fault, they don't even want to talk with you or give you a rental car what does one do?

Notice that in this Forum, most people are asking about "cheap" insurance. I have been with State Farm for 40 years and they have helped me a few times with getting action from other insurance companies and bad drivers. Rental cars would be from the "at fault" persons insurance company. |

The insurance company wants to make money, and there is no money to be made in helping you after the wreck. You just cost them money at that point. They just wish you would go away |

To be fair, it also depends on who your insurance company is. If you have a really cheap company, then you get what you pay for, but if its one of the larger ones, I would suggest getting a new insurance provider. |

Because it's a business, it doesn't care about people, it cares about money! If they can somehow legally justify not giving you any money at all to fix your car they will gladly do it. There's nothing you can do, you're legally required to have it and all insurance companies are the same. |

Because insurance companies don't GIVE rental cars, you have to PAY for that coverage. Why should they give you something for free?
