A Question About Abusers?

One warning sign is when a wife slaps, scratches, pulls hair and
kicks, all because her husband suggested that they should go home
as he needed to work the next day. After a stern warning if it
happened again. Within two weeks she did it again. Called on it she
went to the middle of the room, put up her fists and bobbed up and
down like an idiot. She grew up in the sticks, may or may not have
had a fight in school. And she thinks she is going to kick a** for a
guy that grew up in the back allies of Chicago. Other times she
begged to be murdered. 18 years after our divorce she finely found
someone to do just that for her. I was jealous. I never hit her over it.
All I did was move us to a different neighborhood to get her away from
the neighbor she was laying with. Then it would start with another
"good neighbor". Yes I was also possessive so we kept moving.
The worst thing on my part was to hit back. When I didn't, the blows
kept coming. For many years I lived with the shame of being a wife
beater. I shouldn't have stayed for nine years. Its not always the
"man's" fault. There should always be - respect - for the other persons
likes and dislikes - on both sides! If that dose not exist - move on.
A lasting - friendship - will grow out of that - respect. Out of those
two things will grow a - Love - known only to folks married for many
years. My wife of 40 years is very controlling. She tells me what shirt
to put on, what pants to wear and so on. I sure hope you found

Regardless if you are wanting this information for you or someone you know, tell someone. Get help. 1 in 3 women every second are hit by an abuser. It's the same number for young girls. And that's just in abuse cases that are reported. The number is actually higher. Don't become a statistic.

Showing signs of aggression and not talking to the person who he/she was associated with. Also, the abuser will usually show signs of aggression to others at work or anywhere else in public.
