First the judge will get her attention with some very high fines. Then the judge will add in driving school (mandatory, paid for by the driver), probation with community service or jail time and revoked driving privileges for quite a while.
By the time she gets done she will have spent a couple of grand that she didn't have to spend. Then, when she gets her driving privileges restored, her insurance premium will be higher than a rock star's groupie for the next three years.
"Just stupidity" ... you got that right! |

First Offense, she'll lose her license, probably get some probation/community service... take a safe driving course...
get her license back in a year or two. Probably a very hefty fine. |

You say she was "arrested" and not just cited, so it's not a speeding ticket. It's an arrest for a misdemeanor, probably reckless driving. Since the difference between an infraction and a misdemeanor is that one can be sent to jail for a misdemeanor, we can figure that the arresting officer, at least, thought this offense was serious enough for jail as a penalty. With no more information than what you have said, the "best guess" is a couple days in jail and a maximum fine. |

Really depends on her driving history. 1st offense, loose license and a fine, driving school. repeat offender, JAIL. |

Well in MASS they will revoke her liscense and charge her criminal offenses of reckless endangerment and/or other criminal charges. Tell her to get a good lawyer! I kno once you go over double the speed limit it's now a criminal offense. Just curious to know... what does she drive and what was she racing?? I got a wrx and loooove speed lol..... |

Most likely gets license revoked, maybe some jail time and the ability to say she's lucky she didn't kill herself or others. |

She's gonna get passed around the jailhouse like a bottle of cheap beer. |

Obviously she is arrested & charged with wreckless driving and endangering the lives of other motorist. Gong 118PMH in a 55MPH zone could have definitely killed someone. The police could add attempted murder. Though, because of her speeds it is a crime. And she is probably either charged with a misdemeanor or a felony. It is going to depend on the officer based on how he observed her driving. In addition to the high speeds, was she swerving making unsafe lane changes, cutting off other traffic, etc. Those things are going to matter as well as if she was impaired under an illegal drug or substance. |

that's a felony. going over 100 is a felony and automatic arrest...probably jail time and most likely license will get taken away.. |

if there where no alcohol or drugs involved, they will just fined here, and make her do civic duties. The reason they do this is wake her up, before she kill someone on the highway! |

She could get off if she would agree to blow the prosecuter and the judge.
This offer still stands. |
