My boyfriend's sister is suddenly making up the story that he molested her when they were younger. She says that out of the blue one day she just suddenly remembered it happened. Her story is very fishy, but she went to the police with this information. The police have contacted my boyfriend and I and wanted to speak with my boyfriend in person.
I was wondering, she claims this happened when she was 9 or 10, putting my boyfriend at age 12 or 13. What kind of consequences can come out of this? What can we do to protect him from being wrongly accused? Any answers are greatly appreciated!

I know he's telling the truth. Why else would I be trying to protect him? She's been trying to ruin his life ever since he's moved out of their parents house. She's on antidepressants, cuts herself and has a whole wack of other problems. She's been doing things like this since she found out we are expecting in August and we're trying to put a stop to it. Everything she does is a cry for attention, so I'm trying to prevent my boyfriend from being wrongly accused.

It's not uncommon for a molested victim to to supress it and suddenly something triggers the memories. It's going to have to runs its coarse,
investigations, trail or whatever.
Consequences, he could go to prision or be found not quilty or not enough evidence to go to court. |
