Can I paint good pictures over graffitti's which are on a public property?
Ok. this is the story.
I like this girl :). lots.
And she lives on this awesome street (sorry for being obscure in details).
She walks down the street everyday and sometimes at nights too.
I want her to feel safe in her neighborhood (though all the neighbor's are nice and families and good people).
If i could hang around her like a satellite, i would have.
She's es mi vida :)
I want to surprise her with art. And want to paint priceless moments and few funny pictures over all the dirty signs.
there is a bunch of good for nothing low lives who has painted all these crazy gang signs and graffitti's all over the place, walls, telephone pillars and poles, sign boards...
How can I legally paint over the graffitti's and gang signs and few public walls across from across the street of her home with nice artwork? Do i need a permit or something? It has to be done at night while she's asleep, its a surprise, and I don't want to get taken to the police station or anything for painting art on public property at night as cops ask me. ( i have recruited some friends to help me too. its going to hard and may take most of the night, coz there's lots to paint over and quite a stretch of road.) I don't want to get a ticket or get into trouble or anything.
I paint good art.

you would need permission from whoever owns the places that are marked up.
plus just painting over it doesnt stop it from happening agian. if you want it to slow down you got to do something like plant a bush there or something. the city here has been doing that to buildings that were tagged alot and the tagging has seemed to go down. doesnt mean the neighborhood is safe though |

You need to ask the city and they might if it is really nice art and it is over gang signs. |

1. A nice painting won't make her feel safe.
2. How long b4 the gangs go back and tag up all over your work.
3. Do you think the gangs will want pay back for not taking them serious.
4. You will need a permit.
4. Everybody will be able to see you disrespecting the gangs by painting over THEIR art.
