Nichols has filed a federal lawsuit seeking more than $2 million because he doesn’t like the food. We’ve heard this before — prior to his federal trial in Denver, he protested that he wasn’t getting whole wheat bread. In advance of his state trial in McAlester, he went on a fast to make his point about the jail’s vittles.
In his latest affront to bombing victims and their families, Nichols says the food at the federal prison in Colorado violates his religious rights, and that being forced to eat it has caused him "physical, mental and spiritual torment, and to sin against God.” He wants 100 percent whole grain, more fruit and raw vegetables and a wheat bran supplement, among other things.

I hope the lawsuit gets thrown out. He's a prisoner, he doesn't have any rights to having luxuries like the choice of food, unless its a medical condition. |
