Americas Most Wanted & opening up a 14 year old case...?

When i was 5 years old my dad killed my mom. My mom's brothers and sisters decided to drop the case. Therefore my dad was never caught and never actually looked for. My brothers and i are at that age and old enough to do what we want about this without having aunts and uncles trying to stop us. We feel that he should pay for what he did. And my older brother wants to send a letter in to Americas Most Wanted and hopefully they will air the story. Will we have to open the case before sending it to AMW or just send it in like that?

if they had been looking for him all this time dont you think he would have been caught by now or at least know about his whereabouts.. This case is old its not like its new. You make it seem like this case is on their head 24/7. Ignorant people these days..

If someone drops a muder case, the police don't stop looking. Murder is murder and there are no charges to be dropped. The state pursues the muderer, not your mom's brothers and sisters. So for this you get an F in believibility.

Maybe you need to consult with your local prosecutor's office for reopening this case/find out who prosecuted this case and go back to them/police departments and prosecutors office has cold case departments
